Research Areas Regional Business Area Currently, local communities and economies are facing various challenges against the backdrop of a declining population. On the other hand, each region has valuable resources unique to that region, such as traditions, culture, and industrial infrastructure nurtured along with people's lives. We focus on these local resources, utilize them as businesses, and aim to acquire specialized knowledge to realize regional revitalization. With globalization in mind, students acquire theories, practical specialized knowledge, and thinking methods related to advanced corporate management and management strategies necessary for advancing business. Public Policy Area In a society with a declining population, the sustainable development of local communities, which are the foundation of people's lives, and the development of livable cities are important issues. The realization of social mechanisms and the improvement of the business environment in response to changes in the economy and society are expected to be the roles of public policy. In the field of public policy, students aim to acquire theories and analytical methods to consider the role of public institutions and how institutions should be designed. Students will acquire advanced economic theories, analytical methods, and thinking methods necessary for analyzing regional industrial development and formulating policies to promote regional revitalization.
